Pure dead gallus...

This entry will need a translation!... "Gallus" means (1) self confident, daring or cheeky; (2) stylish, impressive... e.g. "She's pure gallus, by the way"...
The original meaning of "gallus" was much more derogatory, meaning wild, or " a rascal" or deserving to be hung (from the gallows)...
"pure dead" just means "extremely"...
I love this bright street art with the modern apartment block and the old derelict building behind it.... it sums up many sides of Glasgow...
