Last day in Sheffield before braving the road system this evening.

We went for a walk from the house and quite quickly found ourselves out in open countryside, albeit the sort of open countryside with paths and signs.

I was struck by the amount of vestigial evidence of past occupation, or at least partitioning with stone walls, before all this reverted to woodland.
