Bed number two

Our wander to just outside Coffee Bay was interesting, partly because we were unaware of just how bad the roads were, and partly because of the spectacular scenery along the way.

As the driver for today, I was relying on my co-pilot for extra eyes to spot potholes, wildlife, including piggies, and even worse than Joburg, drivers.

Our arrival at the Ntambanane Getaway Rustic-chic cabin, was not without incident, but what a great find. Beautiful accommodation and a next door neighbour who provided us with a superb crayfish supper.

We have a planned excursion tomorrow with the same neighbour, which will be dependent on him extracting his bakkie from the fence it rolled into after his wife forgot to apply the handbrake.

Never a dull moment as they say.
