Unfortunately not quite exactly two years since the woodchip on the boy's bedroom ceiling was steamed and scraped off the similar offence hiding the similarly green-painted ceiling was removed from the kitchen today, ready for some final plastering tomorrow, including re-plastering the bit which had originally been plastered over the half-removed wallpaper, with which I was not impressed. Fortunately the wallpaper steamer is equally good at softening plaster in order to remove it in a reasonably controlled way.
