Halleluja, I'm a Crow!

I was finishing the renovation of a porch, a fence, and new cellar doors when I heard this crow compliment my work from the tip-top of a tree , two yards away. Four clear, loud caws obviously meant "Nice work!"
The second set of caws was just like the first, except that it meant, "Took you long enough!"
Sure enough, there was a third, this time meaning, "You should charge  more!"
One could suggest that I'm reading too much into the quips of a crow on a beautiful afternoon at summer's end. Bird may not be thinking of human toil. 
More likely, he or she is saying, "Halleluja, I'm a Crow!"
