Christmas Cactus

By 7 am this morning the clean Hummingbird feeders were filled and back outside The back porch and patio area had been swept and MiniMe had been loved and fed. I also walked to the mailbox and put the packets to my Mum & sister in there for pickup later today.

I took a short breather and then I sat out back and repotted my oldest Christmas cactus. The clay pot it was in had decided to disintegrate and pieces were flaking off it!

That left me just enough time to shower and dress before heading to Birgit’s for lunch. We did Mediterranean today so I had lamb kabob with rice and spicy hummus with pita

We had a great couple of hours talking about stuff as there always seems to be plenty going on. But our time is never long enough!

When I got home, Kent was finishing up with grass cutting and so I put out squirrel food on their picnic table and filled the birds’ suet feeder.

Kent had also trimmed to holly bushes under the living room window and so I put the bumblebee lights back out in the bushes.

Somewhere in there I fit in walking 1.4 miles today.
