Ready for kick-off

Bean’s soccer skills are legendary Chez Mima.

When I start kicking the ball she gets ridiculously excited. There’s a whole lot of preparation for her first move, then a bit of barking and some fine dribbling action (see extras).

I kick the ball around the lawn for her, which causes more barking, prancing about and flat-out chasing. She’s perfecting her heading technique this weekend, of which there’s no photo because I was laughing too hard.

This goes on for 15 minutes, or until I do something else. Then she resorts to being fierce with cabbage tree leaves.

What a goose!
