Reaching Up

The flower in this photo is a very tall wispy perennial plant that faithfully returns yearly.I think it is some kind of Salvia.  I didn't realize the hummingbirds liked the tiny flowers; it is in a part of my garden that I don't see often, but it is very visible as the golfers walk to the green. The flowers are fading, but it will have to do for the Flower Friday challenge; thanks, Anni, for hosting

I decided to return to my routine of reading something inspirational in the morning and writing in my journal. It was nice to find inspiration to make today a better day. My takeaway from my reading was to embrace each moment with awareness of whether I was doing what I wanted. I had a very good day!
