Breakfast with Steve...

This morning we went off to All Saints' Church at Castle Camps with about forty others to have breakfast and hear Steve 'lifting the lid' on his long career as the local postman.

The talk was informative and amusing, perhaps if the venue hadn't been All Saints' it would have been even more informative and amusing! Steve who recently retired knows and is known to all in Castle Camps, much loved and missed as the regular postman.

The extra as you can see is a tractor photo, rowing up some late cut barley straw for baling... this is a mixed farm and the straw is needed for cattle bedding through the winter. We don't see many Deutz-Fahr tractors around here.
