Yorked!

After a fairly uneventful but even fist half at Huish Park this afternoon, newly-promoted York were by far the better team in the second, even if the solitary goal that won the game for them came via a big deflection. By then our keeper had saved a rather weak penalty and they had missed a good few chances.

In truth, we created very little in the way of goalmouth threat all game but we did make the occasional foray into their penalty area. In the blip their no 16 is making a rather balletic clearance from a rare corner kick.

This morning we had the refreshing treat of a heavy shower half way through the Park Run. Don’t know if it was that but all three of us improved on last week’s times, Chris & I by 30 seconds or so and Tess by a minute, while Kate was recording her best time on her 5k run from home for ages.
