Today I signed up for a new orchard plot at the community allotment. It’s currently overgrown with nettles and weeds. It will be strimmed this week and then I’ll have to get busy with a rotivator. Perfectly timed to distract me from some very quiet days when the children head back to school (and Isaac starts for the first time).

Gratefuls:

1. Film night with Eve and Isaac;
2. The prospect of a little orchard;
