We have been in our present house for just over 10 months and my plants have not been faring well.  The sun doesn't shines much in any of the windows as we are facing due north.  Plus there are big wooden slats over the back deck (a pergola?) that block some light too.  So this week I threw out another two plants.  The four in the living room window seem to be doing okay but there isn't room for many more there.  I moved this one to my sewing room which gets the most light and it seems happy there.  Might have to get some artificial ones soon.
