Lemon tree not so pretty......

Unlike the Peter, Paul & Mary song from w-a-y back, my lemon tree is not very pretty - I haven't kept it well trimmed and it seems to suffer from mites, although last year it produced the most, the largest and the juiciest lemons it's ever produced.  On a whim today I took to it with the secateurs and loppers.  I haven't done all of it but by the time I'm finished it will be a very slim version of its current self.  Fingers crossed it likes the spruce up and produces another fine crop this year.
