My daughter applied for a job in a new restaurant opening in town next month. She was one of 25 young people that got the job (out of 245 who applied). She went to the first staff meeting yesterday and was very happy when she came home. The owners are two very popular tv/radio stars and very nice employers who opened their fist restaurant in Reykjavík few years ago. They gave all the girls a little present, hair clips and lipstick (I don't know what the boys got). She came home with a big smile on her face :)
