It was cloudy and overcast this morning and there had been a little rain overnight.  The Starlings were gathering in large number and singing beautifully on the roof opposite us this morning. It is 19c outdoors and 20c indoors. It is still and close. My morning walk amounted to 3329 steps, so more walking this afternoon and a possible visit to the Garden Centre, to buy some Heather plants to fill the wall planters, now the Calendulas are producing more seed heads than orange flowers.
