In many ways and for a short period of time it was an exceptionally difficult day but ..... in terms of keeping things in proportion ..... in terms of life, death, love, the universe and everything I suspect, when reviewed from a safer distance, none of it will matter a jot.

Of course it did mean I struggled to do anything with the camera on a day which promised so much.
