Callianthe picta
I´ve been trying to find the English name for this and I don´t think I have: I can only find callianthe picta or abutilon picta. As far as I can see those are both latin names. The plant apparently comes from South America - SEEK says Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay. There is a Spanish name quoted - "farolito japonés", which means "Japanese lantern". That makes sense when you see it shining through dark woods - see extras.
