Apples galore!

Our friend is coming in the morning to collect another batch!
There are still loads more on both trees, but I wait until they fall off when I shake the branches. Or alternatively unless they come off easily when you hold them and gently turn them on their stalks, I leave them where they are until they are ready.
Off round to see the family shortly.
School reopens for them on Wednesday. The staff are having two days of in service training, or INSET, tomorrow and Tuesday.
Like someone remarked the other day, this will probably be the first full school year actually on site. After the past two of Lockdowns and whole classes being closed due to Covid from time to time.
We are still working our way towards normality without constantly looking over our shoulders, metaphorically speaking.
