The bud has blossomed

Today I started some more crochet. It's the sort of pattern where it's easy to miscount the stitches and I've frogged* back several times now. I also finished a pair of fingerless gloves that just needed the ends to be sewn in.

And I went on a proper cycle ride today - 6.25 miles, in nearly an hour. I was listening to an audio book in German whenever I was in a quiet part of the ride, so it went past really fast. I needed the book to be set at a slow speed (0.9 of normal) and even then I missed things, but it was good listening practice.


*It's called frogging when you rip back, because it goes 'rip it, rip it'. Don't blame me, I didn't think it up!
