The rock of ages…

this lump of mica schist has stood here in Argyll since the last ice-age some 10,000 years ago. Such mica, said to have been formed over 500 million years ago, makes one realise how short and fleeting our time here is on this planet, so why can’t we all get on better and take greater care of it.
