A Little Steeple

We did quite a long walk around 5 pm with a walk in the woods above my neighbourhood. There were 94 steps to go down and then up before we got into the woods. Hmmm. Not the most comfortable thing to start off a walk. It was still hot around 26C, but once we got to the woods it was wonderfully cool.   

We walked straight up to the highest point where there is an exit from the woodland. As we reached the top, there's a small chapel under the lovely tall plane trees. I liked the little steeple in the dappled light.  We came back home the same way and the whole outing was just over one and a half hours.
