Autumn is here

Just like that the leaves of the weeping silver birch are turning yellow, I guess the tree has decided that with all this lack of water it had better turn into autumn mode as soon as possible (and that when we even had a couple of showers yesterday afternoon). I guess in the Southern hemisphere this means spring colours are arriving too. From tomorrow all schools are open again, life is back to normal, whatever normal is nowadays. Because there is so much changing, so much that we took for granted is not what it used to be. The future in Europe looks rather bleak, let's hope there isn't a fierce winter coming on top of all the other woes.
