Salmon of Knowledge
A rather stormy early morning which woke both R and I up despite us being in different locations.
Was expecting a rather horrible day weather-wise but almost immediately the clouds subsided and the rest of the day was gorgeously sunny!
A couple of times we saw a viking-like ship with a Swedish flag docked in Belfast while we were on the train, so we decided to try and get a closer look. By the time we reached the destination it has departed. Disappointing.
So instead I took a photo of the Salmon of Knowledge (or the Big Fish) which represents the Bradán Feasa of Irish Mythology. It was erected to celebrate the return of fish to River Lagan and each scale features images relating to Belfast's history, which is what the fellow in the photo is closely looking at.
Almost finished moving everything now!
