Fig tree

What a very enjoyable and relaxing Sunday.
Our youngest granddaughter came over for lunch and stayed until late afternoon.
We always enjoy her company. Had a laugh looking at an old photograph album of ours. Holidays of when we were her age and younger.

Then this evening we have been round to our next door but one neighbours fir drinks and nibbles.
A beautiful balmy evening. Sat outside chatting for a couple of hours.
They planted a fig tree about five years ago and this year it has produced a good crop of figs for the first time. Obviously like the hot summer weather.

So that is my blip for today, along with an extra of a ripe fig we have just eaten. Not quite as sweet as some we picked in France, but still very tasty.
