No rain

Forecast for rain in the afternoon so hiking boots on and waterproof packed and off we went. I found a nice looking walk along the river into Bolton Abbey village, choices for lunch, then up onto the moor and over hill back down to campsite.
Had lunch in the village tearoom, on the terrace overlooking the priory.
Passed lots of small cows in a field so hubby carried Hetty through them then we came up on a small herd of sheep that decided to come with us and had to be waved away as Hetty wasn’t happy with them.
Got a little lost towards the end but could see where we needed to so just headed down hill.
Lovely walk, nice lunch, chilli for dinner and a glass of red. A good day all round.
