A little bit of work and then I tried my luck at the outdoor pool. I thought it had closed, but it was in fact the last day. The lifeguard was looking forward to a break but we wished we could enjoy the facilities for a few more weeks, but that’s the nature of this seasonal work. You can’t be a tourist in your own town.
