The day the rain came

The forecast said rain during the afternoon and when it came it really came. The picture was taken during the first rain shower and I like the reflections on the shiny slabs. The second lot of rain was torrential and we had the odd clap of thunder. There’s a dip in the pavement outside my cabin and the rain gathered to make a lake or even a moat. We had to sweep the water away when the rain eventually stopped.
For the first time in ages we had a proper Sunday dinner. Most enjoyable. Then an evening of catch up television.
