Thorpeness Mere

Last day in Suffolk. A trip to Diss to the antiques emporium, despite picking up a beautiful decoesque door knocker and rose vase I was disappointed in the place.

A pull in to Snape and the purchase complete.

Home and a walk to Thorpeness and back with a pint in the beer garden at the Dolphin and at The Mill Inn.

The Mill has intriuged us all week, it's rarely open and posted last orders at 4.15 pm on several days. Today it was open and completely empty yet every table had reserved signs for between 6-7pm on them. When we asked what was happening we were told it was like this every night, full to capacity.
Made us laugh.

Not ready for home, I could stay longer. Next time.
