A blast from Antarctica...

...has swept up the country today and we've had a miserable 8 degrees celsius accompanied by uninterrupted rain so this afternoon the best programme, I thought, was to finish knitting this little hat . Like Darcy's model a couple of weeks ago, it is leftover sock yarn stripes on a background of Possum Silk Merino Ultrafine 8ply. Light as a feather and ultra cosy : ))
