AIMs games

My grandson is in the basketball team representing his school at the AIMS games which is a week-long event involving 11, 12 and 13 years olds from schools throughout NZ and some Pacific Island countries. There are 23 codes from athletics to yachting, squash to golf and mounting biking to rock climbing and everything else you can think of. We are pleased Finley is playing an indoor sport as the weather was atrocious, cold, wet and miserable.  At least we didn't have to stand on the sideline of a football field to watch him play.  We won't go tomorrow as his games are early morning and late evening and we have to travel an hour to the event but we may go later in the week depending on what time his team is playing. My grandson is No 9 in the blue (his back towards the camera).
