Kowahi Yellow + Bird

It has been a cool, grey day but it was fun to see what has bloomed in the garden while I have been away.  I was especially pleased to see the kowhai trees I planted five years ago are for the first time displaying a lot of flowers.  The little wax eyes have been finding the nectar at the sepal end of the flower.
