Edinburgh Castle

It's MrsCyclops' birthday today.

CyclopsJnr was super excited for her, and very good at helping her to have a lovely day.  

We started with presents, followed by brunch.  Then we all went to look round Edinburgh Castle, which we've been meaning to do for ages but not got round to.  It was pretty busy, but we had a good time exploring.  Mons Meg and the various dungeons were CyclopsJnr's favourites.

Next we went on an open topped bus tour of Edinburgh (something else we keep saying we'll do).  Lots of familiar sights brought to life by the "Horrible Histories" commentary which we all listened to.

We rounded off the day at Tapa, one of our favourite restaurants, for a lovely dinner.  Yum.
