The kids returned from their big summer holiday on Friday, so we’ve had a quiet weekend.

14yo and I walked out along Moorside and back through the pastures. For part of it we were accompanied by a large clattering of Jackdaws, and I quite like the effect in this image of them gathered around 14yo’s head, as if she’s in commune with them.
