Another house, another loft. Whilst this one was also floored to some extent (a bit like the old one) and had walls in (which the other lacked), the usability will always be limited until there's something better than a ladder to access it with and something larger than a foot-square painted-over skylight infested with spiders to let air and light in. Fortunately, behind the pseudo-Artex, it was all plasterboard and relatively easy/clean to detach and hoick out.
