Shopping for Electricals

Mum got her tv in 2006 when she moved to the Old Folks Place and it’s been playing up. We’ve mentioned a few times to get a bigger one and has resisted. I think she thought a bigger one would be over a thousand! We checked the prices yesterday and saw that a decent 50” Samsung would be under 400 so she decided to go for it. Given her sight is gone in one eye a bigger tv than her 30” would be much better for her. And maybe no need the sound up at 44!!

Off we went today to Curry’s to see them irl and she was impressed. The new one comes on Friday. Getting rid of the triangle wooden stand with drawer underneath was a step too far. I think cos it was what she had in Blackford house and also that there is nothing wrong with it so why replace it has something to do with it.

We also had a trip into The Range, Home Sense and then Costa for a refreshment while we were at the Retail Park. She was in the residents wheelchair so was whizzed about.

It was a very beautiful evening so we went for a walk up BB round the side of golf course and home. Countryside was beautiful.

Laugh of the day was Joe Lycett taking the absolute p*ss on LK’s new morning show. The Daily Fail has gone all ‘snowflake’ - how ironic. Don’t they bleat on about free speech.
