1/2 Bakers Dozen

Kaylee and I often laugh when we run errands, finding joy in the small things. Today was no different. A dreary morning, we set off for donuts. I alerted the drive thru I would need 6 donuts, 2 of each variety. She came back with “you need one more”. I repeated my order of two each. Still sounding confused, the staff gave the total due and asked us to drive around. When we opened the box, we had a good laugh. Thanks for the extra donut DD. Math must not be strong with that one.

Worked on last minute preparations for surgery today. Trying to prepare the house and family for my recovery. Groceries and meal prep especially.
