Weekend of over-indulgence

The day started off badly, as Everton managed to remember how to play football for the first time in 30 years and almost managed to beat Liverpool. The day did, however, improve. 

While Dirk and the two younger Ottawackers went for a lengthy bike ride, I started preparing the dinner. Mitch came over too - and ended up crashing on a couch. 

A good night was had - it has been years since I sat up past midnight with friends, listening to music and putting the world to rights.
