Cottonwood
Cottonwood is the name of the two story adobe building behind these ladies. It was built in the early 1930s by Robert Wood Johnson II, who ran Johnson & Johnson pharmaceuticals. He and the family spent summers here at Ghost Ranch.
It is unique because it is a two story adobe. Some said it couldn't be done...build an adobe building that is two stories.
Today, the building houses the Ghost Ranch library as well as some guest rooms.
