Common Darter Dragonfly

A very quiet walk on the Longdendale Trail very few birds and not even many people.

There were a few different Dragonflies around not all that easy to ID as they were so fast and never settled but this one was a gift sitting on the bench that we chose as the turning point.

watched some of Lancashire v Yorkshire good start by Lancashire 180 before the first wicket than Yorkshire had success with a young man called George Hill ( more of a batter than a bowler until today) took the first 6 wickets  Lancashire finished on 272-8
