Lone surfer

Although I took loads of photos of my grandson today, tonight this lone surfer caught my eye. He rode the tiny waves with beauty and grace and it spoke to the sadness in my heart tonight.
However, it was a wonderful day with simple pleasures of play and watching trains again. We were delighted to find a mega blocks farm in the charity shop for £4. So new batteries and lots of fun ensued. Having Lexi overnight so that I can walk her at 4:30 am and take her round to my daughters house before they head off to the ferry to Spain for 9 weeks.
