After the storm

This was the sky first thing as I walked Bailey, vastly different from how it had been a few hours before when we were woken up by thunder, lightning and heavy rain. Not what was needed on a Sunday / Monday night before the first week back. 

I was on gate duty this morning as our new Year 7s arrived, lots were anxious but it was lovely to see them and to give them a day without the busyness of everyone else being in. That will be tomorrow. 

Quite a bit of talk today, including our team meeting at the end and not enough time to do things but we will get going eventually. Just one lesson to teach tomorrow so that will be a gentle start.
