Dress down day

There was a fantastic storm last night; thunder, lightening and torrential rain, but woke to a sunny morning. We had a lazy day, mooching around Chester, and got back to the boat just before heavy rain started again. Walking into town gave us a chance to look at the Nortgate staircase from a different perspective - they are cut through sandstone, an impessive bit of engineering.
