Nearly ripe blackberries

It's that time of the year. The sense of it being harvest time, of apples and pears hanging on trees, and blackberries greeting you on late summer walks. 

These are in our garden in fact, but they are welcome nevertheless. Cooked in fruit crumbles is my favourite way of eating them.
