Still. - Simply The Best

Two years ago, during the covid lockdown, my bridge partner and I met two people on line whilst playing bridge.  Although we didn’t know who they were we started to chat and it turned out that they lived in North London so not far from us.  As we play against people all around the world it was a coincidence that we met these two ladies.  Over the years we have formed a friendship and met them, today, for lunch at Battlers Green near Radlett.  Next year we all plan to go away for a bridge weekend at Stratford on Avon.  Interesting for us but probably very boring for lots of folk !!!

Back home I was pleased to see a heavy downpour which has refreshed the garden and brightened up our favourite rose called Simply the Best.
