The Chasm

... at The Burren, County Clare.. Republic of Ireland

A backdated shot..

Taken on our long Easter weekend holiday with a group of friends..
We arrived on the night of the 27th, air fare payed for by a friend (a birthday treat), slept at his friend's house for that night and went off to start the tours the next day..

Woke up and had a shower at 4am, and when we looked out the window, it was snowing like there's no tomorrow! We were at the meeting point at 6:40am for the Cliffs of Moher Tour.. It was freezing! But as soon as we got out of the city, the sun started to shine like we were in a totally different city!!! We stopped by at Limerick City, where we viewed King John's Castle. Then off to the cliffs -
It was magnificent!

We then had lunch at Fizpatrick's Pub in Doolin where the seafood chowder was heavenly! On our way back, we stopped by The Burren where this Chasm is found.. Tall drop that is! This lovely shot was taken on the way to, or was it after, The Burren.. Love the sun's rays hence couldn't resist giving you a chance to see it. And an added bonus, even got a shot of a couple of sweethearts!

We got back to Dublin in time to check-in in our hotel at Jury's Inn, right in front of Christchurch Cathedral.

Tomorrow is Good Friday so no tours for us..
