A murky, muggy (20C) day with very heavy rain showers.

We set off for an afternoon walk wearing raincoats which were not needed, the clouds parted to make for a sweaty stroll down the ginnels and paths through the streets of Chapeltown (see extra) to Barrack Road to see a new housing project featured on BBC recently. The properties appeared vacant with large building machinery still on the fenced off site. They expected to be in this Summer!

We walked home via Spencer Place and up through Potternewton Park.
