After the storm

We took Jet for a wander this afternoon. We started in the dry. However the storm clouds gathered with rumbles of thunder. Even though we gained some shelter in the woods we ended up soaked. Good job it could only go skin deep! We both had short waterproof jackets but the water ran off onto our shorts. 

This scene greeted us at the castle. The sun put in an appearance along with those that had taken shelter. You can see how the water had run down the castle path.

Home to dry off and revive with a welcome cuppa.
