Downpour

Timing with work tasks meant that if I wanted a walk I had to head out into a downpour. And there was a novelty value in putting my wellies and coat on and dusting the cobwebs off the big brolly.

It was quite an intense precipitation event and the paths had already become channels for overland flow. Hopefully a lot of water soaked it into the ground and made it into reservoirs.
