Shady Island

This island is directly across from Steveston Village but hard get to due to tides and currents.  We nipped over there today on an usually low tide. The outside of the island has luscious sea grass growing above sandy beaches (see extras).  It is such a hidden gem and when on the outside of the island you can easily forget that you’re on the edge of a large urban settlement.
