Early morning shoppers

It's quite chilly in the early morning now. I made a quick trip to town to get some groceries and wine. Labour disputes are making it difficult for liquor stores to keep a good supply in stock and it was weird to see so many gaps in the shelves. 
There were 2 boxes of the wine I prefer and none of G's. I bought one of the boxes. There's a limit of 3 on everything except beer. G had a dental appointment, and he went to buy wine too - I hadn't told him that I'd be buying some. He came home empty handed and said that there was none of mine left.
